10 Book to Movie Adaptations (I Still Need To Watch)

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.  This week is about movie adaptations that I still have yet to see!

Paper Towns by John Green - because Nat Wolff!  That kid is very entertaining in everything I've seen him in.  I also liked the book a bit so it will be interesting to see how it translates to screen.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows by J.K. Rowling - because duh!  It's the end of the series. A lot of my friends actually judge me for not having finished these movies (or books) yet.

The Fault in Our Stars by John Green - because I didn't cry enough during the books (*sarcasm*). But actually, this was a beautiful story and I'm a big Shailene Woodley fan so I'm really looking forward to this one.

The Duff by Kody Keplinger - because my friend Emily recommended this movie to me and we have the exact same taste in books/movies.

The Giver by Lois Lowry - because classic? And nostalgia for reading it in elementary school.

Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson - Because this is one of my favorite books and I adore Kristen Stewart.

Gone Girl by Gillian Flynn - because everybody's talking about it.  I am very swayed by peer pressure.

Wild by Cheryl Strayed - because everybody's talking about it.  Again... peer pressure.

If I Stay by Gayle Forman - Haven't read the books yet but my brother and his girlfriend said this movie is very sad but very good.

Room by Emma Donoghue - Because Brie Larson!  I saw the trailer when I was at the movies and it looks so good.  I think it comes out later this year.

What book to movie adaptations do you have yet to see?

Take care,
Marian

  1. Great movies on your list! There are quite a few on here that I want to watch myself. I keep saying I am going to get to The Giver, but then never do and I have owned it for ages now. I LOVED Gone Girl, that was such a good adaptation. Here's my TTT.
