Top Ten Tuesday

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.  This week is about quotes I love from books that I have recently read.

1.  “If you don’t put yourself out there, if you don’t take risks, you can’t truly feel.”
― Miranda Kenneally, Breathe, Annie, Breathe

2.  “The future was one thing that could never be broken, because it had not yet had the chance to be anything.”
― Sarah Dessen, Saint Anything

3.  “I always thought when I became an adult everything would become less confusing, but unfortunately, everything's only becoming more confusing.”
― Meg Cabot, Royal Wedding

4.  “THE THING ABOUT life is that you never know when it will show you something that touches you so deeply that you can’t help but be grateful for everything . . . even the bad.”
― Claire Contreras, Kaleidoscope Hearts

5.  “If I go back to the beginning, I could start it over again. I could go line by line; try and find a shorter way. I could try to make it... better.”
― David Auburn, Proof

6.  “God gives us the ugliness so we don’t take the beautiful things in life for granted.”
― Colleen Hoover, Ugly Love

7.  “When life gives you lemons, make sure you know whose eyes you need to squeeze them in.”
― Colleen Hoover, Ugly Love

8.  “That what you’ve always had doesn’t mean that’s what you’ll always get. That what you’ve always wanted isn’t what you’ll always want.”
― Huntley Fitzpatrick, What I Thought Was True

9.  “I may not remember anything about her, but I would bet her smile was my favorite part of her”
― Colleen Hoover, Never Never

10.  “Do you ever have the feeling that everybody's making everything up, all the time?”
― Sara Ryan, Empress of the World

Aw, now I have all these feelings.  I love books.  haha

Take care,
Marian

  1. I really love the quote from Empress of the World - I'd never heard of the book before, but I'm definitely going to check it out now! The Sarah Dessen one is also very inspiring - I always love her writing. Great list :)
