Who's Ready for Summer? Me!

Who's Ready for Summer?  Me!

This rainy and cool weather has made for an interesting spring, but I'm ready for summer.  Last weekend I spent the day at the beach with my family and ever since then the weather has been getting a little bit better each and every day.  Yay!
1. Belted Denim Shirt Dress
2. Woven Stole
3. Oval Belt
4. TOMS Canvas Wedge

Fashion Choices for the Summer Weather

You know what that means... Dresses, sandals, and shorts!  I've been doing a little bit of browsing online but so far I've just picked up a couple of sundresses at Plato's Closet.  If you have one in your town, definitely check it out.  I got 3 dresses for around 12 dollars.  I also got a Vera Bradley laptop case for $15.  What a deal!

The Dreaded Search for a Bathing Suit

I already have a bathing suit from a couple of years ago that fits me but now that I'm going to be visiting my parents at the beach more this summer, I've been looking for another one.  I've been checking Old Navy and J.C. Penney to see if they have what I want but I haven't found it yet.  I'm in the game for a cute, not too revealing one piece.  Anyone have any recommendations?  Hit me up in the comments. haha

Don't Forget to Find a Beach Read

When I go to the beach, I usually like to stop at places like Target or Costco to look for enjoyable beach reads.  You never know what you might find and even the hardcover books are usually a good price.  But now I do a lot of my reading on my Kindle or through library reads.  Last weekend at Cape Henlope, DE my beach read was Big Magic by Elizabeth Gilbert.

Some Beach Read Recommendations

1. The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot
2. Something Borrowed by Emily Giffin
3. The Truth About Forever by Sarah Dessen
4. Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants by Ann Brashares

That's All For Now!

I think before work today I'm going to go one a nice run around my neighborhood and maybe sit outside in the sun for a while.  If you have any recommendations for Beach Reads this summer, let me know in the comments.

Take care,
Marian
