Creative Goals for June 2016

One of the best ways to stay motivated and get stuff done is to keep a to-do list, a goals list, or to somehow track your progress.  I did a really great job of tracking my writing and getting thing done in the first few months of the year but I broke my habit and fell behind in May.

Oops!  I feel pretty guilty!

But that's ok.  I know we're already over a week into June but I'm going to try to make some goals for myself so that I can accomplish some more projects by the end of the month.  Let's get started.

1.  Write a total of 30,000 words this month.

I fell off the band wagon with my daily writing last month.  Oops!  I don't really have an excuse but I will say that I started dating somebody new, my work schedule switched between day and night shifts, and I've been getting over an infection.  But I'm totally not making excuses. haha. Except I am. But whatever.

2.  Release a new zine for my etsy shop.

I made a vow at the beginning of 2016 that I was going to release a zine in my etsy shop every month this year, meaning that by the the end of 2016 I would have 12 new pieces of writing in my repertoire.

3.  Release a printable for my etsy shop.

That's right!  I'm creating a digital download.  I've been working on it for the past couple of days and hopefully I'll be able to scan it and format it tomorrow.  I've been interested in creating digital products for a while and so my goal is to release my first one this month.

4. Finish reading 4 books & write reviews of them.

My goodreads reading challenge is to read 60 books this year and right now I think I'm on track.  That being said, I'm trying to put more focus onto writing reviews and posting them here on my blog.

If I think of any more, I'll write them down in my bullet journal and update on them here at the end of the month.

Take care,
